Day 55-La vida

Today our class was about pig and the jamón, which is so prized in Spain.  We got to try a bunch of different kinds, and my teacher thought it was funny because I loved it and kept trying more.  However, with the last one (this picture), she would not tell us what it was before we tried it.  It looked disgusting to me, but I was going to be able to at least say that I had tried it.  I took a SMALL bite, but it was so tough and then there was like a red strand that come off it that looked like...yep...BLOOD sausage.  UGH!  I had to throw it back on my plate and cover it with my napkin immediately.  I don't ever need to try that again.  Not a fan.  After class, I headed home for
lunch with the boys.  I am still just loving hanging out with them.  Then shortly after I went to meet Tiffany and we studied for almost a good three hours.  I am so blessed to have her to study with because she knows a lot and we always seem to really cover a lot and review well.  Our teacher gave us the questions she may ask, so we basically just spent time coming up with the important details for each.  I was real nervous before, but I feel so much better after that.  Then since I had some extra time, I got to skype with Lauren Cable, which was the first time I've been able to talk with her as well, so it was great to catch up with her.  Then Zouhir came in and decided he wanted me to try to straighten his hair.  It was so short that it was kind of difficult but he looked funny.  He wanted to try mine too but did not get very far with that.  Then we got ready to have dinner, and at the end she brought out ice cream for dessert.  If we didn't already think she loved the boys, I think we really do now...but hey I'll be part of this deal, totally okay with that.  Then I spent some time writing with my friend, til almost 4, but it was worth it and I think I studied enough for the day and I should be good at least for the test.  We'll see how tomorrow goes...
