Today we woke up and got ready for class. Zouhir walked into my room to tell me something and my señora walked around and was like, "Ohh...last night I see you in here and when I find you again you're still in here..." Awkward. Haha we got a good laugh at that one too as we both go, "No no no!!!" Then we headed to class, which was our sweets tasting day, YUM!!! They were all delicious but just laid in our stomachs cause we have not had sweets in so long! We tried tarta de aceite, cortadillos de cidra, pestiños, and rosquillas. The cortadillos de cidra (shown here) were my favorite! Then I decided to walk to Triana to try to find these shoes that I want. After about an hour of walking around, I finally found and bought them! Then I headed home for lunch with the "family." Zouhir was cracking me up because let's just say our señora's pajamas are sometimes a little thin, and he got a sight of a little more than he cared to see. His reaction was hysterical. Then I went to meet Alice and our Spanish friend Miguel. We sat for a while and talked and then went to the Macarena church and neighborhood. The big Macarena display was unfortunately not there today, but we still got to see the church and the big wall that had been built for defense purposes many years ago. It was nice to have some good Spanish practice time too. Afterwards, my body was just exhausted from so much walking, so I went home to just relax until dinner. We had Juevo Flamenco and just talked some more. Zouhir wanted to know about me, so I got to tell him a little and how my faith is important to me, so I don't do a lot of the things they assume "typical American girls" do. They promised to be on their best behavior and not use any "bad" words at the table, except for the fact that they know like 6 different languages! A little later I went to meet my friends to go down to the river. It was weird to see only a few people down there, now that our originally group is mostly gone. We just talked for a little then headed down to a bar in Alfalfa. It was pretty disgusting. The comics on the walls were the most sexual, repulsive things I've seen: literally could not look at the walls and a cockroach scurried across the counter and touched my arm. We hurried out of there! We just talked there for a little while too, but I was not just exhausted and not really feeling it for some reason, so we headed back then around 2. I had to get ready some for our trip tomorrow, so it still ended up being a late night, and I am sure tomorrow very quickly!
