Day 16-El estudio parte de estudio de extranjeros

Today was a typical morning: breakfast and class.  Tomorrow is our first exam, which oddly enough is also the midterm.  So after class, we stayed until a little after 5 and just talked about all of the notes, the important people, the important time periods, and things we thought may be on the exam.  Reviewing it all in English was really helpful and we basically created a study guide, which I think will help me to prepare.  After studying I went home for just a little to drop off my stuff and read my Bible, and then I headed back out to go to a cooking class.  We didn't actually really do any cooking, but we got to watch a señora prepare an empanda and then we got to eat that and flan.  She used the coolest little machine, that measured the amounts of things that she put in.  It would also mix whatever she needed and had a little spot to crack an egg at the top.  It was rather handy!  They were both good and we got the recipe!  After the "class" my flamenco class was meeting up to go to a bar where they have flamenco performances.  We went but the show did not end up starting til about 45 minutes after we expected, so we only stayed for a few minutes because we wanted to get back to study and have a good night's rest.  So I headed home and tried to prepare some more, but I was pretty beat, so let's hope it goes well!!!
